E-mail

E-mail

Every user in relation with FME at CTU Prague gets an e-mail address according to this template: name.surname@fs.cvut.cz. In case the first part name.surname is already taken, the user will get an alternative one. You can check your e-mail address upon logging into DUPS DUPS or in a telephone directory (People). This e-mail address is used a default one for communication within the faculty, it can be found in directories, etc. .

Reading e-mails

Mail sent to the abovementioned address is as default sent to a mailbox on the faculty server CYRUS-MBOX. Where to forward the mail can be set in DUPS , tab E-Mail. It can be forwarded to another email account (e.g. Seznam, GMail, etc.), or have it sent to the server CYRUS-MBOX or more addresses.

Server CYRUS-MBOX

Mail on the server can be read using a web interface MY.fs, or using protocols IMAP and POP3 via your favourite mail client (CPS recommends and supports Thunderbird)
