Registration for the academic year 2027/2028

 till September 10, 2027 - applies only to current students of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering of the CTU in Prague (does not apply to applicants to the first year of Bachelor's and Master's studies at the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering)

Period when nothing can be put to KOS system

 according to the Administrative regulation there is a 15 days’ period to appeal against the Decision to terminate the studies for failure to fulfill academic requirements in the previous semester or academic year. Therefore, it is not possible to interfere with the data in the information system (KOS) in the following dates:

September 14, 2026 – October 18, 2026 (5 weeks)
February 15, 2027 – March 21, 2027 (5 weeks)
September 13, 2027 – October 17, 2027 (5 weeks)

during the week of February 15, 2027, through February 19, 2027, only the results of the extraordinary make-up terms for courses from the first semester of the first year of the Bachelor’s programme may be entered into the KOS.

State Final Exams:

Winter semester:
February 1, 2027 – February 12, 2027 (2 weeks)
Summer semester:
June 14, 2027 – June 25, 2027 (2 weeks)
August 23, 2027 – September 3, 2027 (2 weeks)

Submission and acceptance of the Final Thesis Assignment (Bachelor's and Diploma)

Winter semester:
Bachelor/Diploma Thesis Assignment - October 23, 2026 at the latest. Submission of Bachelor/Diploma Thesis according to the Guideline of the Dean (set by the Head of the relevant Department).

Summer semester:
Bachelor/Diploma Thesis Assignment - April 23, 2027 at the latest. Submission of Bachelor/Diploma Thesis according to the Guideline of the Dean (set by the Head of the relevant Department).

Closing of the electronic index and registering for the State Final Exams

Winter semester:
till January 22, 2027 for the State Final Exams held from February 1 - February 12, 2027 at the Study Department

Summer semester:
till June 4, 2027 for the State Final Exams held from June 14 - June 25, 2027 at the Study Department
till August 13, 2027 for the State Final Exams held from August 23 – September 3, 2027 at the Study Department.

Admission procedure for Bachelor's and Master's studies in the Czech language for the academic year 2027/2028
  • Bachelor's degree programmes – June 2027
  • Follow-up Master's degree programmes – May 2027

Registration of applicants to the first year of the academic year 2027/2028
  • will take place online from June to September and in person in September 2027 and will be governed by separate special registrations schedules,
  • the date of registration will be indicated on the website of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering and in the electronic Application form.

Start of the Academic Year 2027/2028

 according to the Schedule of the academic year 2026/2027 issued by the Rector of the CTU in Prague, the academic year 2027/2028 will start on Monday, September 20, 2027.
