Exchange students

The Faculty of Mechanical Engineering (FME) at CTU Prague proudly welcome international students each year through Erasmus+ or bilateral agreements.

Exchange students remain enrolled at their home university while spending one semester or full academic year at CTU Prague.

Nominations

To be admitted into an exchange programme at Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, you must first be nominated by your home university coordinator. Nominations must be submitted via the online form available here: https://international.cvut.cz/students/incoming-students/erasmus-and-exchange/

Nomination Deadlines:
Winter semester/ Full Academic Year:

  • EU citizens: April 15
  • Non-EU citizens: March 15
Summer Semester:
  • EU citizens: November 15
  • Non-EU citizens: September 30

How to apply

Once nominated by your Home University, you can complete your application using the online form: https://mobility.cvut.cz/registration/

Application Deadlines:

  • Non-EU citizens: March 31
Summer Semester:
  • EU citizens: November 30
  • Non-EU citizens: October 15

When selecting courses, make sure to filter by your degree level and the semester you will be attending at the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering.

Course Selection Across CTU Faculties

As an exchange student at the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, you may choose some courses from other CTU faculties. However, at least 50% of your total credits must come from courses offered by the FME.
Please note: Selecting courses from multiple faculties are more likely to result in timetable conflicts.
