Letter from the Dean of the CTU FME to current students

Published: 29. 03. 2020

Dear colleagues,

surely, in today's emergency situation, you are wondering how it will continue with your studies. Although the time is very uncertain and practically everything can change, I would still like to provide you with some information and certainty.

I cannot provide you with the specific plan or scenarios of your studies.
The only certainty is that we have switched to non-contact teaching and I very much ask you to use it and study non-contact.

Furthermore, it is clear that there will be no state exams in June and if contact school is opened this semester, the semester will be extended by 2-3 weeks for block teaching of laboratory and practical teaching.
The state examinations will take place in the second half of August and the first half of September in contact or in need as non-contact. It would be possible for the Erasmus student group to take the state examinations in July.

Overall, I can assure you that exams, state exams, admission to the follow-up study will take place by contact or in need by non-contact way. Dates and instructions will be available on time.
Despite all the uncertainties, I want to assure you that we will enable you to complete your studies and help you with both content and legal and financial matters. Please don't worry, trust me.
If any of you have any problems and need help, please do not hesitate to contact me.

Thank you.
Best regards,
Michael Valasek
