Czech for beginners – for Erasmus students

13 two-hours lessons in winter semester, 13 two-hours lessons in summer semester
 

Winter semester

Grammar:

  • expressing agreement and disagreement,
  • questions,
  • numerals 0 - 10,
  • verbs „být“ and „dělat“,
  • conjugation of verbs „rozumět, mluvit, vědět, vidět“,
  • forming negative,
  • future tense,
  • numerals 11 – 100,
  • verbs „mít rád, číst, pít, jíst“,
  • higher numerals 100 – 1000,
  • singular nominative– adjectives with soft and hard ending.

Summer semester: 

Grammar:

  • Possessive pronouns „můj, moje“
  • Nominative and acusative of adjectives
  • Comparative of adjectives
  • Verbs „jmenovat se, pracovat, studovat“
  • Telling the time
  • Ordinal numerals
  • Modal verbs
  • Past tense
  • Verbs „znát, vědět, umět“
  • Prepositions „v, na, u“
  • Singular locative of nouns

  • Personality
  • When is it? When do we meet?
  • What do you like doing?
  • Famous Czech citizens
  • What did you do yesterday?
  • Where were you?
  • Where did you go on holiday?

Technical part:

  • simple description
  • Erasmus students are also entitled to attend other language courses.
