Courses
We teach:
- strength and elasticity - fundamentals of mechanics of deformable bodies, including their material response and limiting states,
- continuum mechanics - theoretical basis of mathematical models of deformable bodies,
- finite element method - computer modelling of deformable bodies,
- fundamentals of engineering experiment - measuring the mechanical response of bodies and material testing,
- dynamic strength and durability and plasticity and creep - modern methods of description of limit states,
- mechanics of composite materials - responding to the current trend in engineering.
A number of other specialized subjects is taught in the Master's programme in cooperation with specialized department.
