Simulation is not just one of the steps in the development process of our eForce Prague Formula student team. It is one of the tools that helps students push the boundaries of what a student team can achieve.
We are proud that Ansys highlighted our team’s work in an article that emphasizes how the eForce Prague Formula team uses advanced simulation throughout the entire vehicle development process —from aerodynamics and cooling to powertrain and structural optimization,
all the way to post-processing.
Thanks to Ansys tools and our partner TechSoft, the team was able to accelerate workflows, shorten development time, and
make more informed design decisions throughout the season. One of the key results was a 15% reduction in the weight of the
powertrain assembly while maintaining all required mechanical properties.
Our in-house CFD automation tool, developed directly by the team, also contributed significantly to this progress. It allows us to streamline simulations, test more design ideas, and make more efficient use of our hardware.
A big thank you goes to Ansys and TechSoft for supporting student engineering and for helping to turn ambitious concepts into real performance on the racetrack.
