PhD student Patrik Budský from the Department of Management and Economics, Faculty of Mechanical Engineering CTU in Prague, is a member of the winning team of EIT Manufacturing Winter School 2020.
The first Winter School took place in October and November 2020 and, as part of the programme, participants competed in a dedicated Winter School Challenge.
The winning team completed a study on an innovative product, a bladeless drone. The team was awarded at the closing ceremony on December 4, 2020.
The team addressed risks in developing a new construction of drone that would not use propellers. Buoyancy is generated through small turbines and four loops.
Our winning team also perfectly connected technical and economic aspects of the product.
